The purpose of my Squidoo Blog!

Hi my name sam and I have been on Squidoo for some time, I signed up in October 2007 thinking it would be an easy way to make money, unfortunately i had very little knowledge of setting up lenses, and getting those all important visitors. I set up a couple of lenses expecting to make a monthly income from them, but I soon realised that this was not going to happen. Since October 2007 I have recieved a total of three payments from squidoo for my lenses the first was in October 2008 a whole year after I first started this was for $10.50, I have since received $23.71 in January 2009 and $ 15.23 in May 2009, which makes a grand total of $ 49.44. Not bad considering how little effort that I have put in to squidoo up until know.

This brings me to the purpose of this squidoo blog. I have deceided that it is time to take squidoo seriously and with plenty of hard work make monthly squidoo payments as oppose to a measley yearly payment. I intend to use this blog to document my journey as I research what works and what doesn't and to keep you posted on the progress of my old lenses plus let you know about my new lenses I create.

Being a full time mum plus working evenings part time I don't have huge amounts of time to spare on my squidoo lenses so I anticipate the progress to be slow, however I do intend to put the work in to ensure that I get to were I want to be, and intend to share eveything I do on this blog for anyone to follow.
